Account closure and records
Closing your account ends sign-in and course access and removes your password, sessions and ordinary learning records. Minimum records needed for transactions, refunds, legal obligations, privacy requests or security may remain under the applicable retention policy. Unknown or additional obligations, copies and service providers require separate review. Closure does not cancel a refund request or waive consumer or privacy rights. You can contact contact@the-trade-load.com without signing in.
Your country or territory of residence helps us handle privacy and consumer requests. It is not a choice of governing law and does not remove rights that apply to you. Additional rules can depend on the seller, transaction, tax registration and place of processing.
You do not need to provide your residence to create an account, sign in, view Preview or close your account. We ask you to confirm your current country and, where needed, state or province at checkout. Adding a residence in Your account is optional. If you close an account without a saved residence, we record that it was not provided and assess your request without assuming a country. We may ask for information relevant to a particular privacy or consumer request.
What happens when you close your account
- Your sessions and access end, including paid course access. Your password and ordinary saved learning records are removed. Signing up again does not restore the previous account or its access.
- Necessary transaction, refund and other retained records follow automatic rules or a separate assessment. We keep a contact address and request reference to handle your request and explain any remaining records.
- Refunds and statutory consumer rights continue. You can use Contact us or email contact@the-trade-load.com after closing your account; a new account is not required. Email remains available if the form is unavailable or its daily limit is reached.
- Copies, security records and processor or backup records require separate review. We do not describe them as erased before their disposition has been verified.
Retention depends on the record
For the individual business operating this service, Korean e-commerce rules generally require contracts, withdrawals, payments and supply records for five years, and consumer complaint or dispute records for three years. Tax rules and other applicable duties can require different periods and starting dates. These are not blanket periods for every account field.
Deletion after the retention period
Established retention rules are applied automatically to eligible records. For confirmed domestic Korean transactions, this covers five-year transaction evidence and three-year resolved complaint text. Before the five-year purchase rule can authorize deletion, a documented classification must establish that additional accounting, tax, commercial-book or OSS duties do not require a different period. Unresolved or additional duties prevent deletion under the common rule. Cross-border, unknown and other exceptional records receive a separate assessment before deletion. We may need to postpone deletion of records linked to an unresolved payment, refund or dispute. A dispute hold applies only to relevant records and remains until we confirm it is no longer needed; its review date does not end it automatically.
We retry failed or incomplete deletion and verify completion. This includes account-linked security records in storage and archives we control. Copies held by external providers and in backups require separate handling. We also separately review the minimum records needed to handle your closure or privacy request and to prevent delayed payment messages from recreating deleted records. Deleting one record does not mean every related record or copy has been deleted.
Account and security evidence
General visitor and member authentication logs expire after ninety days. Administrator access and ordinary administration history use two years; administrator-right changes use three years. The same record-specific periods apply to the active database and R2 log archives. A documented investigation or legal hold postpones deletion only for the relevant evidence.
Ordinary account document acceptances and residence history are cleared ninety days after closure; purchase-specific confirmations remain under the transaction schedule. Ordinary support notes are cleared ninety days after the later of closure or their last update. Privacy-request contact details and case contents are minimized three years after the response and all outstanding disposal and provider checks are completed. Minimal closure and replay-prevention references remain separately to prevent delayed operations from restoring erased records. These internal purpose-based periods are not a claim that every country requires the same retention.
We review remaining records and their expiry separately, restrict their use to the stated purpose, and document any legal or dispute-related exception. These controls do not establish compliance with every country's requirements. An internal review target is not permission to delay a legal deadline. Contact us to request the applicable grounds, retained categories or an update.
